We offer Skate Canada’s flagship Pre-CanSkate and CanSkate programs for beginners of all ages. These programs teach fundamental skating movements and basic skills in a fun, safe, and supportive environment that encourages unrestricted movement and rapid skill development. We also offer opportunities for competitive skating in beautiful Prince Edward County!

PECSC skating programs are delivered by NCCP-certified, sport-specific professional coaches, supported by experienced STARSkaters who volunteer as Program Assistants. These young leaders help mentor newer skaters, build confidence on the ice, and give back to the Prince Edward County community. 

The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) provides standardized training in coaching, inclusivity, ethics, and sport safety, delivered through the Coaching Association of Canada.

Some skaters dream of reaching the Olympic podium or developing skills that support hockey, ringette, or speed skating. Others simply want to enjoy time on the ice with family and friends while building fitness, confidence, and a healthy lifestyle. Whatever your goals, Skate Canada and the Prince Edward County Skating Club (PECSC) are here to help you succeed.
