START SKATING & GET AWARDED THE FIRST CANSKATE MILESTONE RIBBON

Skaters are always progressing and the Program Coach Coordinator will be letting you know when your skaters is ready for more challenges and moving up to CanSkate. (Keep note of the CanSkate schedule).

What skater should have and wear:

  • Layering of clothing is recommended, nothing bulky.
  • Dry thin mid-claves socks (changing socks prior to put on skates is a great way to make sure the socks are not humid from the day)
  • Dry Gloves (like stretchy magic gloves)
  • Must wear CSA approved hockey helmets.
  • NO Bike, ski, or other sports helmets; these are not approved for ice skating impact.
  • Club or fitted jackets is a great way to go!

What can skaters bring with them on the ice?

Their Smiles!

See you at the rink!
